Hi,

I am planning to use Stereo Tool in car audio setup, however I would like to consult performance sizing and few more little things..

Planned setup: Orange Pi board with some generic USB sound card (hope that generic USB Audio is supported good enough)

Processing:
AGC (with Power Bass)
Stereo (Image + ACR Stereo)
Equalizer
True Bass
Multiband (Digital, 7 bands)
Absolute Highs (maybe - not decided yet)
Bandpass
Bass Boost
Singleband compressor
Hard Limit OR Advanced Clipper (not decided yet)

no FM transmitter, no RDS, no Natural Dynamics, no Declipper, no Delossifier. Maybe latency lowered (ST will process audio from mobile/radio so during phonecalls is low latency preferred)

What parameters of the board are essential for smooth ST processing? I assume that raw CPU power (proportional to frequency) is the most critical - what about cores, does ST already have support for Quad-core? Is RAM critical?

My pre-selected boards have the following CPUs:
- ARM Cortex A7 Quad-core (Allwinner H3) 1.2GHz (Orange Pi One H3 Quad-core 1.2GHz, 512RAM board - sorry, czech only..)
- ARM Cortex A7 Quad-core (Allwinner H3) 1.6GHz (Orange Pi Plus2E H3 Quad-core 1.6GHz, 2G RAM board)
Is the weaker (1.2GHz + 512MB RAM) board going make it, even with slightly lowered quality, or is it waste of time and I shall invest to more powerful platform?

I appreciate any tips or opinions. Thanx in advance :)
