Has anyone gotten stereotool to actually stream via vlc?

We are a commercial FM radio station using StereoTool to process our FM signal. However, I would like to use stereotool as the encoder for our STL as well. I would like to use AAC+ as the codec. But I cannot get it to stream to a Barix exstreamer (nothing happens).

Any help? I've read the help guide

I've spend some time on trying to achieve this also, but I didn't had any succes on it.
It seems that vlc is not capable of encoding to AAC+, so now i'm using virtual audio cable and Altacast(with AAC+ encoder)

Why not discuss it here so other people can also benefit from it?
If it is possible to stream AAC+ directly from vlc I and I think more peapole with me are also interested.
