Hello,

I have a Windows 7 box with an AudioScience ASI5620 card (http://www.audioscience.com/internet/pr ... 0_562x.htm) installed in it.

The box is going to (eventually) process for FM (although audio only as we have to go over a codec to our TX where we'll add RDS and pilot) and web.

When I try to switch to ASIO, I get an error message and the output goes to 100% solid.

The cards support ASIO: http://www.audioscience.com/internet/do ... t_asio.pdf

Has anyone had any luck with these cards?

For FM you need 192 sample. This card only goes to 96.Even if you do the mpx and rds at xmtr,I presume aeromate is what you may use, your card still needs to do 192 for best results. I would contact audioscience regarding the asio issue. They usually respond quickly.

Not for only audio (beware though: this means a pretty big loss of loudness, or, if you keep the loudness the same, audio quality).

What error message do you get? And did you set a valid sample rate?

I was getting 'Unable to load ASIO' messages.

It transpires the driver installer did not create the requisite entry in HKLM/SOFTWARE/ASIO... A reinstall fixed this.
