Hi, when I run the standalone version I get this error message. "could not load asio driver" I searched Google but found no answer. Thanks

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit asus xonar pic card motherboard also has on board audio

That is strange. What ASIO driver name is shown in the pull-down menu? (If none is shown, that would be the cause, and you might need to install ASIO4ALL if you want to use ASIO).

I could not find the drop down, but I did a windows search "asio" and found nothing. I installed ASIO4ALL and I get error message could not load asio driver.

Sound cards -> ASIO
Should contain an 'Enable ASIO' checkbox with a dropdown menu directly below it.

Where do you see the error message? I suppose it's inside the buffer bars in Stereo Tool?

The error message would pop up in the center of the screen at the top it would show "sound card error"
I did the restart the sound card and no longer have any error message. Thanks I can now use stereo tool.
