Hello,

I'm looking for the way to create a Windows shortcut of stererotool that take as parameter a preset to launch.
This is for the Windows standalone version.

Something like:
"C:\Program Files\Stereo Tool\StereoTool.exe" -s "C:\pathToPreset\monPreset.sts"

Thanks !

Stereo Tool always remembers last preset when you close it or even minimize it to tray.
So why not just load ST shortcut from "Startup" folder ?

I have multiple instances of stereo tools running in parallel, that's why I want to be able to launch the full preset setting from shortcut in order to automatize via startup script.

Rename the Stereo Tool .exe (or .dll or whatever you are using) file. It will automatically look for settings that are saved under the name of the .exe file, and upon closing, save the current settings using that name.

So in your example, rename StereoTool.exe to monPreset.exe

Thanks guys, this workaround works ! But with this usage I have a missing information: Stereotools doesn't display the preset in use.
I have 5 stereotools concurrent instances running and I can't know who is who.
Is there a way to display an indication of the preset in use ?

Thanks !

No, sorry :(

You'll have to check the sound card settings I guess...
