For the fun I have tried Stereo Tool on my Macbook Pro (i7 2,2 gHz) in combination with VMWare Fusion 5 and Windows7 32 bit. Yes, ST works and I get the sound to a transmitter. Pilot tone (19 kHz) works, but I think 38 kHz for stereo separation doesn't work, it's mono with the stereo indication at my tuner. RDS is also not working. Asio4All isn't a success, so I use the 'normal' soundcard. Seems like the soundcard doesn't get 192 kHz. Thought that this will be 192 kHz. Anyone tried this before? A test file played by MPX Tool got the same result (stereo indication on and mono sound)

No, no errors seen in ST. In Windows control panel at sound, I have put it to samplerate 192000. But this doesn't help either. Tried also Asio4all, but then I don't get any sound. In ST I can only select Windows mapper as sound device, but maybe that has something to do with the emulation of VMware.

I see the same thing with VMware on Windows. This probably won't work - VMware supports some old SoundBlaster device if I recall correctly.

Soundcard emulation isn't important for VMware and I think they are right. I will try bootcamp, curious if that works

Bootcamp with Window7 home works fantastic on MacBook Pro 15" i7 2675QM 2,2 gHz.
Composite clipping strictness to 20 (can you hear any difference between 20 and 10).
Quality (CPU load) to 100%!

Jeroen's The King FM preset.
Processor usage only 18% 823 MB memory usage. What a quality
