This might be a stupid question and I apologize if it is: I am trying to VST plugin, but can the standalone version of Stereo Tool utilize and process System Audio? I'm on a Mac, and I'm used to programs like Audio Hijack which capture sound. However I can't seem to figure out how to just play music and have the Stereo Tool process it. |

Yes, I believe it can. However, I cannot help you personally as I am on Windows. You might have some luck using ChatGPT as an aid if nobody happens across who uses Mac OS.In Windows you need to download a virtual cable/soundcard to send system audio to, which Stereo Tool then takes, processes, and outputs to your selected speakers. I hear CoreAudio is a little less messy than Windows audio APIs, so you might be able to do this without downloading anything. Best of Luck! |
