Hi! One issue I'm having with Micro MPX decoder and I thought you could help me...

When I open Micro MPX decoder in Google Chrome, after few seconds the CPU usage gets pretty high and even Micro MPX starts to stutter. I usually access PC with anydesk. High CPU usage is caused by Google Chrome, but only when I open one of the tabs in Micro MPX panel (Stream, FM Output, Security..).

We are using Win 10 64-bit dedicated PC, with i3-8100 CPU, 3,6 GHz, 8GB RAM, SSD, Asus motherboard, Micro MPX version 3.0.1. Normal CPU consumption is around 10%.

Thank you! Best regards.

Are you running the browser on the same device as the decoder?

I would not advise to do that anyway. The reason that it's a web interface is that it can be used remotely. Chrome is rather heavy. If possible, open the interface on another device.

Thnx for advice. Because we have whitelist of IP's and I need to access it from phone hotspot on field, that is not possible.
Tried with Edge browser, same issue. Is it possible to make more heavy light version for direct access or in general?

Which version of µMPX are you using? Is it one with the old web interface (yellow/gray waveforms) or the new one with the blue waveforms and purple headers?

Micro MPX version 3.0.1 - blue waveforms and purple headers.

When you make the window small enough, the header with the waveforms will scroll out of view when you scroll down on the page. When they're out of view they stop updating, which will reduce CPU load. You could use that as a work-around for now.

OK, that will do. Thank you!
