Hello,

I'd like to install stereo_tool_32.vst on a Mac. I want to use it as plugin in Reaper (32Bit version).
I downloaded stereo_tool_32.vst.zip and unpacked it, but now I am a at loss.

I expected to get a *pkg or *dmg-file from the zip-archive, but simply got a directory "stereo_tool_32" with several subdirectories, which looks like the content of a pkg (with ./Content/ and inside of that Info.plist, PkgInfo, MacOS, etc...), but even if I rename the directory to stereo_tool_32.pkg, the installer returns an error:

"The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)"
Could not open "stereo_tool_32.pkg".

So: my question how do I install this as a VST-Plugin for Reaper?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Florian

Hello

you have to unzip the downloaded file « stereo_tool.zip » —> you get the file stereo_tool.vst

If you get a directory when you unzip the file, you probably already have a previous (unzipped) one.

There is no .pkg file

You have to copy manually the stereo_tool.vst to your home directory/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST
Alternatively, you can also copy the .vst file at the system level /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST

Hope that will help
