Hi I have just brought myself a 2017 Mac with high Sierra , my question is how do I get stereo tool to work on it ? I wanted to use it with virtual dj and process the sound through it ? I also have a Denon mc6000 mk2 that I have plugged in and I'm stuck what I need to do ?

I have read that you need A Jack tool ? I'm running my mixer via usb the Denon has a built in soundcard ? but what settings do I need in stereo tool in the sound card to get it to work , I just get a high pitched echo , or it connects to the mic ?

Any help would be great many thanks ?

also how can I get it to work with I tunes on its own to process the sound ?

Thanks

By far the easiest way to process other applications' sound on mac is by using AudioHijack together with Loopback (both from the same vendor). These tools are very easy to set up, but unfortunately they are not cheap.

You can also use Jack, which is free, but is much more difficult to set up right. To capture the audio of some applications to route it through jack, you need Audio Hijack anyway (e.g. to capture audio from Spotify).
