Hi!
I'm trying to setup ST on linux (Lububtu, bare openbox session) box, to process output from software, that runs on the same box.
Output goes to FM ( Asus Essence STX II card ).
Setup is working ok, if I route sound from secondary soundcard's analog output into STX input (STX analog output produces MPX).
It should be possible to avoid double digital-analog-digital conversion by using alsa's loopback module,
but I'm having some weird problems with it - little audible clicks, and complete sound dropouts once per several hours.
( Maybe "Synchronize with different output sound card" will help here ;-) )

But the question actually is:
Can I feed ST with raw sample stream via pipe / socket?
In windows version, there is an option to use vlc. Is there something like it available/planned in linux?

Best regards,
Alexander

( Or maybe it is possible to get command line version, that is capable to pipe out 192 khz ?)
