Hi Everyone,

I'm running the latest stereo_tool_gui_jack_64 on a Debian 8 VPS x64 with Jackd2 and everything appears to be working fine, but I have a strange situation where the inputs and outputs in Stereotool are reversed and can't get any audio in or out.

In the inputs menu I get the options:
stereo_tool@out_l
stereo_tool@out_r
stereo_tool@fm_l
stereo_tool@fm_r
stereo_tool@mon_l
stereo_tool@mon_r

In the outputs menu I get the options:
stereo_tool@in_l
stereo_tool@in_r
stereo_tool@sca_1
stereo_tool@sca_2

I've tried using QjackCtl to route the audio but without success. Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

This actually makes sense! Jack shows you to which outputs (or inputs) you can connect to! So for an output you'll see all the available inputs (including those of Stereo Tool) and vice versa.

There should be other i/o's though... assuming that there's a sound card present.

Thanks for the reply. Now i've got everything working properly, i realise my first post was a bit stupid.

I was trying to get mplayer's output into ST and out darkice which i've now figured out.

I'm sure i'll be back with more silly questions soon.
