Hi forum:

Our FM radio has a Wlan 5.8GHz link > 5Mbps. Is it posible divide ST in two sections -two box- ?

1. Mixer out --> ST audio processing (PC1) --> streaming transmitter (PC1) --> Wlan Link
2. Wlan Link --> streaming reception (PC2) --> ST stereo functions (PC2) --> Analog MPX --> FM transmitter

It is vital to process the audio before it enters the streaming in studio. We use OpenOB for streaming and an analog processor in transmitter site, but i believe in the superiority of ST and have a unified process.

Is Mpx over AES/EBU in ST's plan?

Well, we don't have streaming inside Stereo Tool but there is Omnia SST with MicroMPX. That's the same processing plus a low bitrate codec that transports the complete MPX signal including stereo/rds with perfect peak control.
