Hello, I am new on Stereotool. I downloaded version 8.14, the command line version.
I have a debian Jessie 8.6 system on 64 bit.
I can't run the software because if I type:

radio@localhost:~$ ./stereo_tool_cmd_64
./stereo_tool_cmd_64: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX
_3.4.21' not found (required by ./stereo_tool_cmd_64)
radio@localhost:~$

What can I do for solving this?

This version requires a newer OS. I'm not sure if just copying the glibc from a newer Linux will work...

Ok, but on my opinion Debbian Jessie is quite new...
it is the last debian version, anyway I discovered that if I use the 800 version of stereo_tool it works.
I don't know how to update the c++ component, because making apt-get update and apt-get upgrade it says I have latest versions of all packages.

Anyway thank you for your reply, for now I use the 800 version, I think it is quite stable

I think I figured out how to fix it, and improve the performance in the process. Please try this version: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=13078&start=22 .

8.00 is stable but it has a bug due to which one thread constantly uses 100% CPU load.

Sorry... this is the results:

radio@localhost:~$ ./stereo_tool_64_BETA815-010
./stereo_tool_64_BETA815-010: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21' not found (required by ./stereo_tool_64_BETA815-010)
radio@localhost:~$

If you think I can help you with some info about my system please tell me what to do, it is a Debian Jessie 8.6, not so old :-)

Please try the 011! (Same link, just replace 010 by 011 to download it)
