Greetings all,
What are the guidelines and general setup procedure to enable AM processing for standard AM on Stereo Tools particularly on Ubuntu Studio.
Think I have mine setup right here in the LAB but not sure on a couple of things.
One thing that throws me is the AM output is dependent on having the FM section turned on.
So I gather that the processor is in FM mode until you activate the AM block right?
Anyway your thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

The FM section should not be on!!!! The FM output should (it's actually an FM/AM output).

To move a preset to AM:
- Make sure FM is off
- Turn AM on
- Configure AM according to your local standards (the US is very different from the rest of the world). In most places you have to lowpass at 4.5 kHz, in the US you can go upto 9.8 or 10 kHz.
- Asymmetry helps, but you need to make sure in which direction the peaks have to go. In most places the maximum allowed asymmetry is 25% (so the setting would be 125%).

What about under Sound Card section? If I turn off NORMAL I lose output audio.
Thanks

Also, what drives the output bar graph on the level section?
Where should it run normally?
