@Khitryy Lis:
67.13 MHz radio Mayak (Russia) Polar modulation Received with sporadic E in the Netherlands:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrGpyDonFak

The Polish OIRT Transmitters have ever used the FCC (pilot) Stereo with 19 Khz since the sixties. Diora Tuner AS252 supports only Pilot Stereo.
You must use a russian ukv tuner with Polar Stereo like rondo101 or Corvette-104 Stereo. Some Stations in Russia use Polar-Stereo, other Stations Pilot-Stereo. If good sporadic E conditions,
You can receive many OIRT stations from Russia, and countries of ex USSR like BY, UA and MD.

GQRX it has Polar Modulation Stereo build in works fine for me under win 7 64bit. I have tested this
at the last days under very good sporadic E DX conditions.

@Marcy311

Thanks for your information. This Youtube video is actually one of my own recordings and I uploaded it two years ago.
Radio Mayak is one of the stations that still has a lot of transmitters that are still decoded in Polar stereo.
Next month I will go to Ukraine and Russia, I will have a look if I can find one of those tuners you advice.
In Ukraine and Russia new car radios are available that cover 65 - 108 MHz (without gap).
Those tuners support only CCIR stereo.

This stereo decoder looks very interesting but it is build on old soviet components that are not available here.

About GQRX I couldn't get that work with my SDR.

I have bought some equipment in eastern Europe earlier this summer. The seller asked for what purpose we wanted to buy such old equipment, he didn't knew about polar stereo.

While staying in Moscow I received some local stations. I am sure they are encoded in Polar stereo. I have listened to these stations with this receiver and they had a nice audio separation.

Today I did a small test and made a small recording, the audio is coming from the Rondo 102 tuner and the video is from SDRsharp. I have to say that I am not really impressed at this moment the audio separation is not as it should be. Just have a look to the video and give your opinion, I will keep testing.

Thanks for this nice Video !

Those Tuners support 100% Polar stereo I see it in the Schematic Diagram.
The Audio Channel separation is not so good, the same as my home made polar decoder.

I have make a test with stereotool and a small DIY-Transmitter on 66 Mhz and 100 Mhz.

look at: http://kulturserver.de/home/piradio/shop.htm

http://kulturserver.de/home/piradio/bil ... tz_usb.pdf
or http://kulturserver.de/home/piradio/bil ... sb-alt.pdf
or http://kulturserver.de/home/piradio/bil ... ausatz.pdf .

The Test Signals are generated by Stereotool and Music Titles played by VLC. Be sure to set the
Pilot Level in Stereotool at maximum (18%).

@marcy311 Interesting materials, was your test with polar stereo successful?

I have done a few more tests, I found out that some solderings of this old tuner were dried out.
I suppose this old tuner just need some love to functional properly, I renewed those solderings and everything seems to work fine.

I did another test and it seems to me that the polar stereo works perfectly in Steretool.
In this video below you can see the result:
https://youtu.be/bpcDCA_DdmI (at 2:04 I play a stereo test sound, check the channel separation)

@hvz Polar seems to work very well if there is anything you would like me to test please let me know, thanks for the good work!
