I've tried the linux version and got it working on Debian 8 with vlc piped to stereotool through jack.
It worked ok, but after a couple of reboots my jack patchbay was not working anymore because the jack id's for stereotool and vlc were changed.
Is there a posibility to implement a stream input source(vlc or similar) the same as on the windows version?
That would be a lot more secure and guarantees a working system even after a couple of reboots.
