If the VST plugin were to conform to OS X VST standards it could probably easily be converted to an AU plugin using VSTAU Manager. (It would probably also stop crashing its host when closed ;) )

It's a problem with the GUI library that I'm using on the Mac, on Windows the VST plugin works fine. I need to find someone soon who can build a native Mac interface so I can get rid of this library. That should solve all problems.
