I sometimes come across these kind of waves, where the center of it is either too low or too high:

Is it possible to add a fixing option for this, so I can push it back to the center? Processing it with Stereotool encreases this problem often:

Simple DC offset.

Usually even 15Hz phase linear HPF fixes it.

However i noticed something else... HPF adds some bass hum wich is not there in source. investigating..

edit:
At 21Hz it's almost gone. Or never-Phase-linear HPF 3Hz / order6

lol, nice trick: see it as a very low frequency and filter it out. :)

I am going to use this in all my settings now.

Would it be of a positive effect to have such a HPF for 2-3Hz in the repair section, so it takes effect before any processing filters begin?

[edit] Weird effect: When I use StereoTool as VST in WaveLab 6 and set HPF phase linear setting to "Never", I hear the processed sound but the rendered wave in the WaveLab editor is empty (silent). When I set it to "Auto" or "Always", the rendered wave appears in the WaveLab editor as expected.

[edit2] The problem with the "no phase linear" setting appears also in Winamp. The result is silent.

[edit3] When I set HPF Filter to 3Hz with no phase linear, it works now. No silent output. Okay then ... ;)
