I like the fuctionality of A/B comparision in other processors.
The easiest way to realize this is to modify the behavior of the Preset loading window.
2 changes would make life easier to compare 2 presets:
When you want to load a preset the window with all the stored presets does appear.
When you click the "Load" button, the window closes and the chosen preset loads.
It should be this way, that when you click "load" the window stays opened and the selection moves automatically to the last (prior) active preset. Then you can click "load" again (and again...), shut your eyes while doing this and can be fully concentrated to the sound. This helps to decide wich preset is the better one.
The Load- butten then switches between the last and the "new" preset.
Regards,
Robert

Hm, good idea. The most annoying thing I have with comparing presets is something else though: There is no smooth transition (and there cannot really be one unless you keep processing incoming audio with both presets).
