hello,
recently i find out this software i and like it on first sight.
first must to mention that i work as a technician in small radio in my town.

i played with so different plugins many years to find what is good for my wifi link studio-transmitter (maded by me :) )
I start to play with ST and as i said ... love on first sight :)

so, as the title says my first wish for ST is a De-Esser.
i know that i can simulate De-Essing thru Clipping and limiting/compressing .. but some oder specialised de-essing plugins do this job much better.. anyway i can use it in situation when comression/limiting/clipping is disabled if i wish.

this my first post..
i will call back with other questions about sound card but it will be in proper thread

cya

Welcome Bojcha,

I was planning to add a simple filter that reduces very loud high frequencies in the next version, which I'm working on right now. Would that be sufficient or do you have a plugin that does something smarter? If so, now is the time to tell me - I was planning to add this filter tomorrow night

hi

i can only tell you which plugin is doing best job for this.
I dont know can i write this here but here it is.

Waves Renaissance DeEsser

so if you have chance take a look at it .. it works briliant. and it's very simple.
bad thing for waves is that this plgin comes in pack.. and cost alot.

AAfter testing the latest Loudness and Final Limiter results of version 3.50 (that I'm planning to release tonight...) I don't think such a filter is needed anymore.
