At my radio station I just had to buy a hardware audio processor instead of using Stereo Tool. Only reason: because it has a built-in backup player (plays MP3s, WAVs, AACs from SD card in case of audio loss). Yes, the secondary input is great - but I do need a seperate backup against dead air, no matter what happens before Stereo Tool. Would absolutely love to see a backup player added to Stereo Tool - it's the only missing feature that prevents me from using it everywhere. (Would even buy it as a paid option. ) And did I say that I love Stereo Tool aside of the missing backup player? Happy to be useing it with two new DAB+ products launching in a few months! Best regards from Austria, Matthias |

Don't understand the difference ? On second input of STT, you can put a hardware or software player. |

Sure - but I'd love to see a simple way to define a folder of MP3s (or even a single file) to be played directly by Stereo Tool in case of input audio loss. (Wouldn't that be a lot easier than having a seperate VLC Player repeat some files 24/7, wiring it to to Stereo Tool via Voicemeeter hoping that when it kicks in, the current song isn't right at the end? And imagine doing that for, say, 4 instances of Stereo Tool.) |
