I bought a raspberry pi5, when will there be updates for the new machine? Thank you

this image does not want to work on raspberry pi 5

My Pi 5 finally arrived today, so I can finally test it myself. I haven't had time to do any tests today; hopefully tomorrow. What I did for this specific image is update the existing image to the latest Raspbian, which should support the i5. But maybe I've missed some steps.

If it would not be difficult to send a link to download the already tested working version here, I would be very grateful! Thank you!

I have it working on my end. Apparently you have to manually update the bootloader; if you don't Bookworm will start on a Pi 4 but not on a Pi 5. It appears that it might not run at all anymore on a Pi 3, which would be annoying if true (haven't tested it yet, but if true I would need to keep 2 versions).

I also had to make a small change to the binaries themselves (they ran but with a lot of error messages); I'll run a fresh beta build tonight and, if nothing goes wrong, upload a new image tomorrow morning.
