| Post subject: | StereoTool's own sound card input? |
StereoTool needs it's own sound card input for those of us who only have a microphone input on our PC and no stereo mix option. It's impossible to route audio to StereoTool if we don't want to use Winamp, or another player. What if I want my web browser to go through Stereo Tool? |

Currently you can of course use something like Virtual Audio Cable or VBCable (windows) or a combination of AudioHijack/Loopback and jack (macOS). |

Virtual Audio Cable seems nice! I was just saying it would be cool if ST had the option by default, since I know of another processor similar to StereoTool called Breakaway that has it's own soundcard.

Breakaway doesn't call it Virtual Audio Cable, they call it Line 1 Breakaway Pipeline. Same concept though, a virtual sound card that lets you playback and record to it. I think others have created free virtual soundcard systems like VAC too, but I don't know of those.
