Just updated to the newest stereo tools and I was wondering if there was an option to go back to the old GUI which I really like.

Oh ok. I tried the new GUI but wasn't too fond of it.

You'll probably get used to it quickly (most people do) - and once that happens you probably never want to go back. If that's not the case, please let me know what you don't like about the new GUI.

The problem with the old GUI was that it was getting very difficult to maintain, messy (too many things shown at the same time, no clear separation between things that are enabled and disabled etc.), and it was difficult to precisely set sliders.

I just updated to 7.32 and was looking forward to trying the new GUI (hopefully with db gain reduction scales, etc). What was changed? I'm not sure I see any difference.

@bob53bob: He was referring to the old (pre-7.00) GUI.

Those dB reduction scales are on my todo list...

Thanks Hans...I look forward to that addition. Us broadcast engineers like to be able to quantify what we're doing :)

I agree about the sliders. When using it with Winamp if I used the right and left arrows to adjust a slider it would affect Winamp as well.

I'll have to try the new GUI again.

Guess I liked the old GUI because it displayed all I wanted to see in the main window and I could just click on that part of the window to bring up a separate window where the adjustments are.

The fact that the newest version uses less CPU usage is definitely good for my 11 year old computer.
