I got a call this morning that my station running ST was silent. Logged in and ST had closed. Tried to reopen it and saw it flash and go away. It would open if i closed Jack. SOOO I disabled the FM output and started Jack and restarted ST and it opened. Turned the FM output back on and once again, would not startup.

TO save some time, if I turned off SSB Stereo, it will start fine every time..... any ideas? It doesn't matter which mode I use, they all cause it to keep ST from opening. I will live without it for now!

Can you send me your settings file? This sounds like it's crashing somewhere - it should never do that even if something goes really wrong internally so that by itself is already an issue.

Just to confirm: You changed nothing to the settings, but now as soon as you enable SSB it won't start? But before it ran fine with the same settings?

O and which version of Stereo Tool are you using? And 32 or 64 bits?

Correct,

Woke up and the station was off the air. Went to tx site and ST would not start. I stopped Jack server and ST opened. Disabled SSB and closed. Restarted Jack and restarted ST and up she comes! After it is running I can enable SSB again and all is good until a restart of the software!

I tried with all versions of SSB and they all made it fail, but not initially.... not sure what happened!

Using Juli@ PCI card with Mint 17 on a XEON quad core 64 bit OS and 8.23

Thanks for the help. Where should I send the preset to as the filesize seems to be too big to attach.
