Hello!

I get random crashes of Stereo Tool in Mint 19.1 (XFCE desktop) (both are 64 bit, 44100 sample rate, standard jack configuration with realtime set to "no" in a blue config menu). It just crashes without any warning. And it's completely at random. It did happen with previous version of Stereo Tool as well. The problem seems to be absent in Cinnamon desktop, though. But as we know, XFCE is much lighter than cinnamon and for this reason a desktop of choice for me (and I bet many others too). A secondary problem is with gui, which tends to turn to white (or white bands appar) when minimizing the app and maximizing it again. This problem also goes away in Cinnamon DE, which clearly points to GTK being a culprit.

Cheers!
Slawomir

FYI, this Linux distro is based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
