Hm, I forgot about LTS... Ugh. And it really needs to be able to work with Rivendell. I guess I need to look into this again - it's just so annoying getting all those glibc dependencies sorted... :(

8.00 CPU load is indeed way too high due to a bug that's fixed in this new version...

I have just spent several hours on trying to fix this. I can remove a number of things from it, but not everything. Since there is a new Debian available that will work fine, I don't think I should spend a lot of extra time on this (the only thing I can do now is to disable certain features which require a newer gcc version, on top of that I would have to build with an older gcc which probably means a less good performance, hence a higher CPU load).

If there are more people who run into this and cannot update, I might revisit this and create a special build for Debian Wheezy. For now I'm putting it aside.

At some point I intend to switch to the Intel compiler, which would hopefully solve this issue... I really, really, really don't like how library versions are handled on Linux... On Windows my latest build runs on everything from Windows XP to Windows 10, while using all the latest features and compiler versions.

For now I've added a note about tested distributions on the download page.

Just found out by accident that ST DSP gives silence for mono signals. Is this intended?

(Usually all my files are encoded and the decoder automatically changes mono to dual channel, but this file was PCM and therefore directly forwarded to ST DSP as is.)

Wow! No that's a bug. 8.00 worked fine with this.

Edit: Fixed. Will be ok in the next beta. In fact, any signal with > 2 channels would sound weird as well in 8.12...
