Hm, that's the one thing that I didn't program myself - I used a library for the file dialogs...

REALLY glad to see Stereotool working well on Mac OS X now (really for the first time). This version makes an enormous difference in terms of basic usability.

Many thanks for making that happen.

On one of my two transmitter site where I have a 2 core cpu, with ST 7.84 cpu was at 76%. With ST 8.00 It goes to 88%. If Delossifer activated 96% CPU is reached.
I made rollback because I need to change the server first
On the second site, with all activated CPU at 18% :)

Hm I wouldn't expect the CPU load to be different... testing now!

Edit: No difference here. Are you using the exact same settings? You didn't enable "Absolute Highs", or "Rules are there to be broken" in the composite clipper? (Or the Delossifier Spectral Hole Filler, but you already mentioned that).

Can you send me your settings so I can check it here?

Hans,

Don't loose time with that, I need to upgrade this hardware (and upgrade win7 to win10).
In between times, I have kill somes other process and now I'm able to run ST 8.00 on this server :-)

@stef007: The CPU load shouldn't increase, because that will be bad for many users - not just you. But, I'm not seeing an increase here - no change at all basically.

Indeed Hans, I have tried on an other slow desktop, and I don't see difference between 7.84 and 8.00. CPU stays rond 55%. 4% when ST switch off.

If you want I will retry on server, but during night (because it's the server who run for the transmitter).

q6600 quad, 4 gb, debian wheezy up to date (7.9 updated upgraded), dell, 7.84 26% max both quality cpu and display refresh at 100% , 8.0 on 44% same settings, playing with gui has to be done carefully now especially opening the delossifier is a real killer (GUI spectrum) and peaking up to 80% , on various Bojcha preset test we did (wav/dab) we had to turn of oversampled limiting and clipping to avoid overload during the processing after some time
