Unfortunately, I'm having a serious issue with this update. After the update was installed, the "buffer bar" in the FM section slowly started graying out - from right to left (I have never seen that before):

After a few minutes, the whole bar was grayed out - and the output went silent (!)
Strangely enough, the input meters went silent as well:

Restarted Stereo Tool two times - same thing happened after a few minutes.

Reverted to version 7.73 - everything is good again.

Windows 7, 64-bit.
Ow. I think I know what's wrong. Can you set all the Synchronize settings to OFF? (instead of Auto).

Switched "Synchronize to output" to OFF on Input, FM Output and Normal Output sections. No luck, same thing still happens.

Ok. Since I don't have time now to do anything else, I will update the download page - version 7.73 on top, 7.80 below as not-completely-stable. And make a 7.81 as soon as I get back home.

Edit: For now I'm assuming that only the Windows stand alone version is affected, so I've only restored that link for now. Please let me know if you find other issues. The **** issue isn't bad enough to do a complete 'recall' I think - version 7.80 sounds a lot nicer.

So issues reported so far are:
- Buffer bar gray out + lost audio or small audio drops, both in Windows stand alone version. (Hm. Could you try 32 vs 64 bit? It shouldn't make any difference but the * issue is suspicious!
- Texts shown as * in 64 bit versions.
- NAN in Winamp DSP plugin when swiching between presets. That has happened before... (although I thought it was fixed now).

Am I missing anything?

Here on 32 bit Stand alone , there is NO ***** issue like Bojcha said. Just test it and saw everything is OK.

Yes based on what I read so far it's a 64 bit bug. Which is strange, but I'm looking at the code now to find it. (Waiting for the next plane on the airport so I have some time - just not enough to fix all issues and upload it).

Hans , add for the buffer issue that it`s for ASIO ! Because you may forget it and do some change on other code that may cause issues elsewhere.

*** issue is fixed now - I will rebuild asap.

Buffer issue: tested on my laptop without ASIO and that worked fine. I also know that several other people have it in use without issues.

I did notice one weird thing: at some point the buffer size and output level of the Normal Output seemed to have no effect. After resetting it was fine again and I have no idea why. No buffering issues though.

So, question to those who have issues with it: please tell me your exact input and output configuration.
Including the buffer sizes.

This is the settings in 7.73, I didn't change them after installing 7.80 (except from setting Synchronization to OFF as you told me to).

Please let me know if there is more info I can provide to help you troubleshoot!
