No. The old MB has too many issues which make things like this impossible (unless I would make something new to measure the level). But... I'm working on a new compressor (yes, a replacement, again) which I hope will have all the positive features of both previous ones and some more. Among others, what I've noticed so far is that regardless of attack and release times (unless you use really extreme settings), the level that it settles on is *very* constant if you feed it dynamic and severely clipped input. Which is good :)

this good i dia
You could use VLC streaming, it's not that simple but it works. I want to add different options soon (but I'm going to hire someone to do that, don't have enough time to do it myself).

Yes Hanz, for example, add two URL streaming input with priority and if no streaming is available, play some mp3 file present on computer and wait the return of first stream.

Like a Radiobox, Barix Box.

Thanks

That's the plan, I just need to find someone who can do it (for a reasonable price, if you look up wages for C++ programmers that's just waaaaay too much, around 120 euro per hour.). And I think for everything I want it's easily a few months of work.

I can use shoutcast with stereo tool just fine. Are you sure you know what you're doing? Have you port forwarded port 8000?

Something weird is going on, processing the same file twice (with the disk writer plugin) yields different results. I checked it by using the inverting phase technique. It only happens with 2048 and 4096 latency settings.
What is up with that ?

STEREOTOOL + SHOUTCAST STREAMING
Just click on this link:
http://help.stereotool.com/7.60/sound_cards.shtml
scroll to "VLC SOUT=" under "Normal panel".
There you will find a step-by-step explanation how to do this.

Regards,
Robert

Was RDS on with time stamps, plus composite clipper?
If not, did you restart ST in between?

I always test like this and I *should* have noticed it if something id wrong. But I think I didn't test the latest version like this.

No RDS, no FM mode enabled, no restart.
