A weird observation though... in dBPoweramp Music Converter, the De-esser limit reverts to 65636 (the default vlaue for previous versions of ST) even if I 've set it to 131072.

Nobody with issues anymore with this version? Such as partially drawn windows etc? If not I'll run some final tests and release it tonight.
I have some issues to report.

The declipper (VST version) window is drawn too large in foobar2000. That doesn't happen with other VST plug-ins or StereoTool.

The option "Clip output" works odd. When this option is turned off, clipping actually occurs. But when it's turned on, clipping never occurs. So it works exactly the opposite way. Also, when checking the option, reloading the plug-in with its previous settings always results in the option being checked (also with the opposite effect of preventing clipping).

In Adobe Audition 4 (CS5.5) I notice severe crackling in the output. This can be solved by checking "Bypass all" or unchecking "ON" in the declipper settings. CPU usage is low, so it's not a problem of the system being too slow (AMD Phenom II X4).

I also noticed some minor UI discrepancies. When trying to set the option "Quality / Precision" to the maximum value (5.0), the slider always shows 4.9 afterwards. But when settings are restored it correctly shows 5.0. The opposite happens with the option "Maximum restored peak level". When setting it to the minimum value (1.0), after reopening the window the slider is not placed fully to the left. The previously set value (1.0) is shown correctly, though.

Thanks for the maths EldoradoFM ;)

But are you implying that dBpoweramp cannot load values higher than this number for a VST plugin?
The thing is, it loads correctly when I load a preset. But once I press OK and then open the plugin interface again, I see it getting reverted to 65536

I tried this also in Audition 3.0.1. I got no crackling in the case you describe. But the Window is also to big for the Plugin. The Slider works in my Version properly. I got only a Problem with the Attuntation Slider in the Declipper Plugin as i descriped the last Time.

At my System i get no any Problems with any crackling since Hans has improved the performance. Its very fast and stable.

Eldoradofm: issue reproduced after installing nod32 (after Skyping with eldoradofm) NOT COMPLETELY FIXED BUT IMPROVED PERFORMANCE. EMPTY WINDOW MIGHT BE GONE NOW.
Clip output button loading/saving was indeed not implemented. Behavior seems ok though... FIXED.
65536: probably a vst saving issue; will check. FIXED.

How did you do this? I just downloaded foobar2000 + Foobar2000:Components/VST adapter ( http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php ... r#Download ) and it looks ok here.

And it's ok with other players? Does turning "multicore" off help? Do you have a similar issue with Stereo Tool? And if so, also with version 6.20?
