Hi, the latest build is indeed 032, I hadn't posted it yet because part of the build failed. (I think it's all there now though so I'll post an update).

Ok, update posted. I hadn't posted anything before because (upto yesterday) almost everything that we changed is STX related, so nobody else can test it yet.

However in the latest build there are a few potentially interesting updates:
- Extra bass clipper stage added to the bass clipper, if you use "Extra softness" mode which causes overshoots, you can now clip those overshoots for a much tighter result.
- The Advanced Clipper has a new mode that allows even harmonics through. These tend to sound pleasant, and letting more of them through also makes the output louder (about 0.1-0.2 dB).
- We've added streaming support to Winamp, but I think that's not quite finished yet. Idea is that you don't need to load 2 plugins in tools where you need to load 2 plugins to do both processing and streaming, and it adds streaming capability to programs that don't have that.
- The "Also protect bass" feature under Advanced Clipper -> Highs was way too aggressive in some cases; you can now set the new "Maximum bass stages" slider to control how much effect it has. "7" is the default value (I think it's not set to 7 by default right now though, need to fix that).

Hans, getting this one installing DSP in Station Playlist. This is new for me. I do have the stereotool plugin disabled, as always when I install a new version.

EDIT: I closed SPL completely and Retry worked and completed the install.

Still, compressor after legacy AGC is altered by that "attack" thing, even there is no option.

9.38 beta 32 as Winamp plug-in.

Enabling the bass clipper will max all six cores on an i7 processor (i7-5820k at 3.3GHz) under Windows 10.

And I still don't understand what 'start attack immediately' does. What's different from increasing the attack shape? Attack starts acting on the 2nd sample of a burst, does it now also include the 1st one (which would only have a very minor effect)? :?

There's almost no difference anyway. 33 removes an experimental bass clipper setting, which did not provide good results. If you're still using 32, just make sure if you're using the extra stage bass clipper, that you leave it set to Hard mode. Otherwise, 33 and 32 have no user facing differences that I'm aware of.

ive been keeping up with the recent releases and im up to Beta 28 though the first post is still at Beta 24.
can you provide some changes/fixes for Beta 28 ?
thanks.
Nothing really interesting, just a lot of STX work (so it's basically our internal tests). And we're at 029 now :)

For the 32 bit Pi versions, the CPU load is probably lower (about 5% for MicroMPX, I haven't measured Stereo Tool yet but I'm expecting a similar improvement). The 64 bit versions MIGHT be faster as well but I have not yet tested those.

Except for that, the web interface is working again, and now uses websockets so it's faster and using less overhead. O, and the Winamp plugin now also contains IceCast streaming, so you don't need to use a separate plugin after it (for which you need some multi-DSP plugin in many cases) anymore. But the installer isn't properly updated yet.
In the Streaming Output section, needs to resample the audio when use with FM Output (192 kHz) and "built-in streaming" and OGG-Vorbis, because the streaming sample rate goes to 192 kHz and the bitrate goes to 150 kb/s...
Hi, can you give me some more details? The built-in streaming _should_ be following the sample rate of the input signal that the plugin gets.
