I've seen the GUI white flashing Bojcha reported 2 times already with 9.00 final. Never had this with any of the betas before. No time for further testing now, though. |

I load the 32-bit VST into BreakawayOne with only declipper/delossifier and azimuth enabled. I can launch the interface fine from the BaOne button, but after I close Stereo Tool from within the interface, I get a blank popup window that is titled THIMEO STEREO TOOL 9.00 by Hans van Zutphen. And I can't close it. I can resize and minimize, but cannot close it. Attached a screenshot.

Hi, was this ok in the previous version? (And is BaOne 64 bit?)

I never saw this with 8.54. I never tried the betas in BaOne. BaOne is 64-bit. It will only run 32-bit VSTs, however. It's like the popup is launched upon closing the main ST interface. And ST continues to function fine. |

I really don't get it. So many wrong things. |

Congratulations on the release of the new version! So everything's fine here. No crashes, no misconduct, everything is great! I find the release really a milestone! Thanks again to Hans for the long work it took until this version was completely finished. |

Ok. I have actually seen this in a 64 bit host with the 32 bit VST, but it didn't happen with the 64 bit VST so I figured it was a bug in that host (in which I had never loaded a 32 bit VST before). The good news is that I can reproduce it here, so it should be easy to pinpoint what's causing this. It's odd though that this is different in 32 and 64 bit mode.....

Cancel the whole VST shit and also the standalone 32bit build, who uses XP and 32bit CPUs in 2018??. Just an idea , although you do not do much with it..Hans |

The problem with 32 bit (at least for VST) is that if you have a 32 bit application, you can't (easily) run 64 bit VST's and vice versa. The whole issue above is only caused by the fact that BaOne is a 64 bit program but apparently only supports 32 bit VST's - so a "bridge" is needed, which seems to be what's causing the issue. 32 bit in a 32 bit host and 64 bit in a 64 bit host both works fine.Just an idea , although you do not do much with it..Hans Anyway, as you can see, even for the latest BaOne you need the 32 bit VST to be able to run it.... so it's definitely needed. About XP: Since it doesn't make any difference for me, there's no good reason to not support it. It's just one switch in the compiler settings. Sure, I could set it to something later - but that doesn't really have any benefits, just means that people can't run it on XP anymore. (And you would be surprised how many people have their processing pc's, often disconnected from the internet, still running XP, sometimes not even the latest service pack). |
