Recent changes to the dynamics "engine" have caused a lot of things change.
Interesting. What changes are those, because none are mentioned in the release notes of the versions JdR2 mentioned?
In this case, I'm referring to the new modes for all dynamics processing. I.E. what you get when "legacy mode" is unchecked. It's very much mentioned in the release notes. I believe Hans spent about 10 paragraphs on it. :)

Hm, I probably do need to revisit the default settings for Auto EQ...

JdR2 is talking about the sound change between beta 52 (beta 50 for me because I skipped all the NaN-enabled ones) and beta 59. Nobody else hearing any difference?

It sounds like the question is: For the exact same settings, do I hear more 3000-12000Hz energy in build 59 versus build 50? My answer to that question would be absolutely not. I hear no such difference. Nor do I hear any other spectral difference between those builds.

Band 1: 1.4dB
Band 2: 0dB
Band 3: -1.6dB
Band 4: -6.5dB
Band 5: -9.9dB

It matters, so here's the speeds:

Adjust time: 1.3seconds
Kickspeed up: 0.66x

Of course, none of this makes any sense if you aren't using my crossovers. You can find ones that are close enough in the current versions of any presets in the software that use Auto EQ (which I think is all of them). My brand new work will be available whenever Hans publishes the next beta.

There is one of few things in StereoTool that was always annoying to me.. was. Finally not!
Probably someone noticed it, very low "shaking" bass sinusode, wich also makes bass to sound very strange.
Current fix is to just set standard 4096 samples and exactly 107% of qualty. Bass is super stable down to 25Hz wich is enough.
Maybe soon we will see same at 100% Quality.

Is it unsatisfactory again at quality levels above 107%?

Yea, strange, it's exactly 107%

Really bizarre. I haven't noticed anything special about 107% locally. But I think it depends on a lot of factors what % is actually uses. Perhaps there is a difference between our setups.
