Nothing much yet...

Windows 32 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 41-001.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 41-001.exe
VST: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 41-001.dll

Windows 64 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 41-001.exe
VST: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 41-001.dll

CHANGES:
- Switched to a new compiler, slightly better performance (+3%)
- Improved NAN recovery handling and fixed 2 possible causes of NAN's
- Added maximum threshold to the compressor, it doesn't do anything if the input exceeds that level.

Note: No interesting changes yet, but the move to the new compiler and one of the NAN fixes is a bit risky, which is why I wanted to post this version here to find out early if anything broke.

TODO:
- Smarter stereo-to-mono conversion (only when needed). Use amount of reduction instead of maximum degrees!!!
- Fix crash
- Fix Bass boost frequencies in SST
- NAB!
- Redesign AGC
- Make new pre-AGC thing
- Make compressor with alternative ratio implementation
- Classical music compressor
- Add phase filter to LW version again?
- SST preset upload: Make sure they are ordered correctly. And how to put the new one up front?
- Wolf Stahl NAN error -> Still trying to reproduce...
- uMPX web interface
- Hide inactive filters in bottom display (option)
- Disabling FM output makes Normal output pre-emphasized, even in SST.
- Test clipping
- NAB
- WASAPI exclusive mode disables certain things, make it possible to disable it (David O'Nell)

What does that mean? Is it a way to set a maximum reduction?

- Redesign AGC
Definitely necessary but I'm already fearing all the new bugs and work to adapt all the presets.

What's that about?

It must be some code that the new compiler is optimizing in a different way than the old old, which breaks stuff. Once I find it it should be simple to fix.

\_/:
1. Yes. It's basically that. Useful for certain types of signal where you want to boost low level stuff but not touch the rest.
2. Ugh! I can base it on my new RMS-compressor mode. I can already get it to behave extremely similar to the AGC, but its output level is more consistent.
3. A code simplification that will *probably* also sound better.

For those who were seeing crashes: I can't get enough info from the error message to find the cause. I've created a new build with more info for myself stored here, and I hope that with this one I will be able to find it.
So, only for those who had crashes with BETA001, could you try this version and send me the error message again? Thanks!

Tested the 64bit version I got 2 pieces of error messages. The first one visible immediately after program start and the second one about half seconds later. Some seconds later the program restarts itself.

DSP 8.41.001, I get this error only when the "AGC", Multiband or Multiband 2 is turned on.

Ok, I think I fixed the 2 issues that arche mentioned. I cannot reproduce them here (they only occur on certain CPU's). Rebuild running now.
