Hm, wow. I've really had problems to reproduce this on my 6700K. Is this still with version 8.34? Because I did fix several causes in 8.40.
I tested the i7 6700K, i7700k, 7700k and Xeon E3-1245 v5, all with the same error NAN BLACK GATE |

It's still happening to me with 8.40. At least now I can actually close the error when I click the close button, but I still need to restart ST to bring the audio quality back to normal. |

Any idea what causes it? When does it happen?

As a follow up, I moved from StreamLicensing to Live365, and when connecting to their encoder, I selected 44.1Hz as the sampling rate instead of "auto". I haven't had an error since, and it's been at least 10 days. The error previously showed up every couple of days. Don't know if this has any connection to the actual error, but I found it interesting. |
