Can someone please explain to me what the Controlled Distortion control does? I've not been able to find any info on it in the help files. I'd also like to know what the settings do in Controlled Distortion.

I'm running v8.34 w/Sam Broadcaster. I often get the following error. "EXCEPTION OCCURRED IN Display Two:Got NAN input for black GATE. This is not a serious problem but it should not happen." I cannot click out of the error box. I must deactivate StereoTool, then activate it again for the error to stop. Although it says it isn't a serious error, my sound quality is audibly degraded until I clear the error. I believe this error popped up even before I had v8.34 installed. I'd love to know how I can get rid of it. Thanks. |

Can you send me your settings? I'm still chasing down this one, some people are getting this and I don't know what's causing it... And so far have been unable to reproduce it. If you can (if it's not interfering with your station), could you turn filters off to see when it disappears? |

Though I do have that error quite often, too, I was unable to reproduce just now. But I spotted a minor GUI bug: MB freeze and gate show different dB values even if they are setup the same; e.g. at maximum (524288) they show +24.0dB and +24.1dB with the latter being correct. |

I have seen it in the past (often just once, after clicking on it it was gone). But I haven't seen it in quite a while now - I have solved several causes of it which might be why I don't see it anymore. |

I don't have any special settings turned on. I'm using your "Analog Pleasure" web/hd preset with no other tweaks. |

I've still been unable to reproduce it, but I've now at least built in a recovery mechanism. So if this happens, it will cause a short problem and then the audio is back to normal. Will be in the next beta (836-012). |
