Hello,
We have engaged the Portable People Meter PPM 360 in our Station.
But with ST it is only possible to place the Ratings encoderm in front of ST, but the Encoder should recieve a rather constant Signal.
Would it be possible to make a Ratings Encoder insertation after the AGC?
This would help us a lot.
Thanks!

Hi,

I think it would make more sense to have a patch point just before the clipper, to avoid changing the signal or adding too much of it.

Instead of patch point, the following will work at this moment: Split Stereo Tool in 2 parts. Run all the processing except for the clipping on the first instance and send the output to the PPM encoder. Then take the output from the PPM encoder, and use that for the FM stuff and clipping. Basically the same setup that's described here: http://thimeoaudio.blogspot.com/ (scroll to the bottom).

Note: You can use a single license if you set it up like this.

Ah ok i understand.
And then feeding the fm and hd Signal from the second stereotool right? Because we want to use only one Ratings Encoder for fm and hd...
Perhaps it would be a future Option to use a separate Soundcard Output and Input for this...
Thanks!

Yes!

That future option is a nice-to-have, the end result would be identical, the only difference would be that it would make it slightly easier to setup.
