Hans, possible problem with latest beta, jumping when Coastal Dreams is selected. Tested on Winamp build. No problems under Rattling Dreams.
Replication:
1. Reset All settings
2. Select 50us Coastal Dreams
3. FM sound card, set output to VAC spare line and turn on FM output
4. FM Transmitter, turn on encode stereo.

Also still getting the IN DisplayTwo: Got NAN input for actual popup.

There is some aliasing in the advanced clipper now that wasn't present in 8.23 and hard limit is the culprit. Also, the spectrum immediately around the pilot isn't quite as clean as 8.23. Had some red bars on output also. This is on W7P-32, latest standalone beta.

Regards,
Brian
I made it act 10x as fast to avoid any effect that some people complained about. But the pilot should be the same or better than before... so, how are you using it exactly? Are you using the composite clipper?

Yes, may be he means the composite clipper phase problem that i reported a long time ago :)
At least visually - i think there is no change in the audio

I have ST configured as a back end to an HD processor (like a 9sg) so I'm only using the phase rotator, band pass filtering, advanced clipper and composite clipper (75us pre-emphasis).

Looking at the composite output of ST in MPX tool with normal program material is where I noted the hash around the pilot. Toggling hard limit off clears the hash.

The aliasing can be demonstrated by running a high frequency sweep through ST and watching the composite output in MPX tool. It can also be heard by listening to the composite output of ST as the sweep passes through. I use a test file from audiocheck.net, (http://www.audiocheck.net/audiotests_aliasing.php) - download the wav version of aliasing check (44.1 version) and play it through ST while listening to the composite output. Toggling Hard Limit off clears the audible aliasing.

Regards,
Brian

@KIX: Any specific settings? Different (lower) latency maybe? (I just saw that that affects the limiter speed - just fixed that 5 minutes ago). I'll try a sweep... but so far if anything the output around the pilot looks cleaner than in 8.23. (Which doesn't mean that the effect isn't audible!)

In the next build I'll add a slider where you can go between the old value and the new one. I'm guessing that we need to find an in-between value for the best tradeoff between the two types of artifacts.

For the artifact that I tried to remove, it linearly gets better with speedup. So, twice as fast is twice as good, 3x as fast is 3x as good.
For the artifact that you're mentioning, faster is worse. So, going from 10x to 5x will drop the effect by half.
So I'm guessing that a good tradeoff would be somewhere between 3x and 5x.

@HVZ: Latency is 4096. I can PM the sts file to you if you like. This would be for 8.23 as I rolled it back after discovering the aliasing and pilot hash.

Let me know.

Yes please send me your settings. Here everything still looks good...

Hi !

How can 48000hz 16bit WAV stream?

Can not play: ":sout=#transcode{vcodec=none,acodec=s16l,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=48000}:rtp{dst=127.0.0.1,port=5004} :sout-keep"

Ok, problem is clear, and I've already gotten it down quite a lot - or actually, I've changed the filter to concentrate the garbage around the actual audio.
