I must setup that PC with TeamViewer first .
This can happen at least tommorow at some time of the day.
I can give access only to the Win7 machine.

But if this helps: In ST they are not listed as sample rates - it says "32-192"
In Audacity i only try the default sample rate settings after install - only change the interface(MME, Direct or WASAPI).
And all of them respond like they must work

Everything - more or less - works as expected.

WASAPI mode doesn't support 176.4 kHz, and if you set the main sample rate to 44.1, it will try to open the FM output in 176.4. Which isn't listed for WASAPI and also doesn't work. For Kernel Streaming, the weird thing (which I have noticed here too) is that the software reports that 176.4 is ok, while it doesn't work. Not sure yet why that is, for all other formats (including on Linux etc.) the reported numbers seem to be correct, so I'm guessing that this is a library error.

Aha,
So what is the main conclusion - if we want to use the WASAPI or Kernel, must set first the sample rate to 48kHz for sure or up ?

May be some warning then, when switch to WASAPI or Kernel. Because other people can be "shocked" by this "Invalid device" :)
Just user to know - to use 48Khz input sample rate

I guess I should detect this message and replace it by Invalid device or unsupported sample rate.

Edit: Done. For KS the message is kinda unclear (all I get from the software is "Unable to create pin"), for WASAPI I can split up in actual messages (in use, sample rate not supported).

If sound card support native 176,4 it should work, I have that card but I can't test it now.

My card support 176.4, but works only on Old audio library, and now only on MME ( i don`t know if it`s the same thing)
I`m saying that, because always the sample rate is at 44.100. This makes output of 176.4 always.
May be only the library not support 176.4, but only the default sample rates - 32, 44.1, 48, 96, 192.

Some of the cards that I have here support 176.4, some don't. You can see it by looking in the Windows driver settings - sometimes it's available as an option, and sometimes it's not. When it's not and you set it to 192 kHz, them MME will still work but Windows will resample. (Surprisingly, that resamling is far less bad than the one between 44.1 and 48).

Did you intend to link to version 30, and not 35?

Ow! I accidentally uploaded them with the wrong version number in the file. If you open them you should get 038 actually...
