Hello, Hans.

Would you please take a look at positive peak clipping for AM?

In recent versions, I've had a transmitter reach near 140% positive, even though the peak slider is between 100% and 105%.

Last night, I rolled the processor back to version 8.01, beta 001, and positive peak control returned. Also, without changing anything, negative levels were something like 1/2 to 3/4 dB lower, though that was easily adjusted back.

In this application, I'm using a USB audio interface with no ASIO (Henry Engineering "USB Matchbox II").

Thanks.

-Jack
Hi,
I don't see this with the latest version. Could you check it again, and if it still fails, send me your settings?

New MAC VST 64 bit version - there was a non-ASCII8 character in the parameter list that could cause some programs (OcenAudio, great program btw!) to refuse to load it. http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 11.vst.zip

Hi Hans,

I can't wait until a VST plugin is working in Nicecast on Mac. Do you think this is possible in the short term?
Even better would be a streaming broadcast tool inside of Stereo Tool ...

Regards,
Larry

It doesn't work in that? Then there must be a bug somewhere... do you have an error message?

It is not possible to activate the plug-in. The 64 bit version is not visible. The 32 bit version is visible, but I can not activate it. See screenshots.

We'll have to check why. The OcenAudio issue was pretty simple (we had a µ character in one of the parameters, turned out that OcenAudio wrote that to an XML file and then it was unable to parse the file that it write itself because it didn't know which character encoding was used). So it can be something silly like that. (I'm not even sure if I should call that a bug in Stereo Tool or in OcenAudio).

Thanks for the release of the final version!
First bug without even listening: all EQs have the frequency 6299 Hz changed to 6298 Hz, causing a funny peak there, because presets obviously still try to load a value for the old frequency but the new (unset) one is actually used.

Ow! Crap! Then I must have fixed that in the wrong direction. All presets that I saved in debug mode had a different value there than in release mode. Ugh...
