Hi Anthony,

Thanks for the feedback! I've noted the issues you mentioned and we'll fix them soon (at least before IBC). I hope the tool is useful to you :)
Thanks Mathijs! Appreciate it! Hoping to buy a couple of licenses shortly... :)

Also, If Media Foundation isn't installed in a Server Edition of Windows it crashes on startup. You might want to add a warning about that.

Hi Mathijsco,

I've upgraded to v1.1.3 - thanks for the improvements :)

I think I've found another bug. When you add more than one Input Folder (with pre-processing commands) in a session, it doesn't save the config to disk upon exit. If I add one Input Folder, then close, reopen and add another it seems to behave fine.

Can you reproduce this issue?

Thanks,
Anthony.

Also, I've had it throw the error "Unable to create directory ./Processed @ Z:\..."

The file still seems to have processed correctly and moved to the already-existing Processed folder.

Hmm. For me this does not reproduce in 1.1.3. I can add multiple watch folders with commands, and when I close WatchCat and open it again the watch folders are still there. It's not that the window is just too small to display more than one item?

Do you get the "Unable to create directory" message every time? Is Z: a network drive or a normal disk?

Hi Mathijs,

Another question for you... We've found one file says "This sound is processed by StereoTool" at about the 7.30 minute mark. We haven't licensed StereoTool (just WatchCat), but we're only using some very basic processing (basic AGC/Compression). Should this sound be embedded? I thought basic processing was free, but I may be wrong. We've done quite a few files and only found it in one.

Thanks,
Anthony.

You're not using R128? And no clipping or Auto EQ?

Hello Hans,
From what I can see, I'm only using AGC, Azimuth correction, Multiband 1, and Bandpass.

I don't know what the roadmap looks like for WatchCat, but would you please consider adding options to let specific watch-folders only go to specific outputs. We have situations arising where we need to process different content in different ways (with different post-command, normalisation values, etc. too).

We will certainly consider this :)
