New beta:
http://www.stereotool.com/download/Thim ... 36-002.exe

Note: Biggest change in this version is that it now uses Windows' WPF to decode files where possible instead of using libsndfile and mpg123 etc. Most important advantage of this is that it supports far more codecs (basically everything that's installed in Windows). I don't know if the exceptions that have been reported are fixed. We did not see any here.

This beta crashes after every processed file. Then I downloaded the version straight from the download page and that works great. Perhaps it's a newer version at the main download page.

Ah! That one is indeed newer. So please forget this beta, and use the released version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/Thim ... taller.exe

It's probably the tool where we were waiting for for many years, I just normalized all our Jingles, with a own sts preset.

It would be nice to see the version number at the download page, so we can see what the most recent version is and when it's been updated.

I'm wondering if it's possible to have certain outputs only process audio from certain inputs? At the moment it seems every output processes every input?

Correct, at this moment we do not support multiple processing "workflows", unfortunately. So all inputs go to all outputs.

I guess you could run multiple copies in this case. (Mathijs, can multiple instances each have their own settings?)

Also not currently, but that would be easy to add.

Thanks Mathijs. I'm currently testing WatchCat to use with our new On-Demand audio system. I have build 1.1.2 (9th June 2017).

A couple of quirks I'm come across thus far:

1. If a file fails (e.g. crashing pre or post-commands), you cannot re-process another file with the same name in the same folder. The toolbar says "New File Found", but it never actually starts processing.

2. The toolbar keeps saying "New File Found" even when a file is processing. I think this is causing the pending count to grow substantially even when there are 0 files in the watch folder.

3. There is no confirmation to delete an input or output folder - making it easy to accidentally delete your folders (and their commands) when reaching for the 'edit' button instead.

For the benefit of other readers, here's a pre-command I'm using to append and prepend an intro/outro:
Code:
/path/to/ffmpeg -y -i "/path/to/intro.wav" -i "$infile" -i "/path/to/outro.wav" -filter_complex "[0:0] [1:0] [2:0] concat=n=3:v=0:a=1 [a]" -map [a] -f wav -acodec pcm_s16le "$tempfile"
P.S. Loving the new StereoTool website!

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for the feedback! I've noted the issues you mentioned and we'll fix them soon (at least before IBC). I hope the tool is useful to you :)
