In the latest Windows VST version I have the following problem. It always cuts the beginning of an audio file. It always starts hard and directly. I do not know how much is cut off, but it should be a few milliseconds. This was not the case at all.

possible bug in 8.14 ?
In absolute highs, if the checkbox to link it with delossifier is On, it does not seem to work. Whether delossifier detects MPEG or not, no audio output can be heard. However setting this checkbox off, there is generated audio.

I don't see this in the Winamp/DSP version.

Allow me to give more details, that may help:
- source a low bitrate mp3
- VST version of Stereotool 8.14
- do a full reset on all settings
- in processing set pre amplifier to get a normal audio volume, depends on your input
- in absolute highs set the max generation frequency to 2500 (exagerated of course) and slope up to 5000. listen to the difference, you will hear it very clearly.
- now, turn on delossifier, all default settings, both pre ringing and spectral options. Immediately the effect of absolute highs is killed IF the "follow delossifier" option is on. Almost like that option is doing just the opposite??

hope this helps to reproduce and correct, thanks guys

Ow. Follow Delossifier means that the frequency above which it operates is the highest frequency in the audio that the Delossifier detects. So you should definitely hear less!

Thank you very much for the information! For some reason I believed that "if Delossifier detects MPEG then follow its suggestion to generate highs, if not MPEG, then don't" :)
best regards

This is a problem with the current (8.14) DSP version:

Will try 8.14 Beta 2.

C.

Edit: Works fine in 8.14 Beta 2. No error.
