Ow. 8.14 is newer than the beta though. Did you do anything special when this happened?

It crashes here, but according to the error message there's a read of address 0. And this is a write... And ecx and eax should both have been 0. That's really odd... I really need more info! If it reproduces constantly on your end, please send me your (complete) settings (the .ini file).

EDIT: I just realized that I think I have seen this before, If I'm right, this is caused by a memory alignment that is reported in a strange way, What CPU do you have?

The 8.14 DSP that I downloaded from the Download page is the one that gave the error. The latest one I downloaded from this topic 8.14 Beta 02 works fine.

All I did was start it as a DSP in an application to get the error.

The current Beta in this topic of the standalone is also 8.14 Beta 02 posted November 27th which I have been running as latest but your saying the Standalone in the Download area is latest?

Edit: My confusion as on this 64 bit machine I run 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Now have 8.14 64 bit exe dated 29th November.

The one in the download area is the latest. But.. there is only a 32 bit DSP plugin version so what do you mean you have the 64 bit?

And what CPU do you have?

Hans,

The versions I have are the Standalone 8.14 x64 which is the main one we use on our main PC and also on this machine (not on the main PC) the 8.14 x86 which will get overwritten by the next released beta.

The DSP version was the one I had the issue with as I downloaded it to demonstrate to someone. It has now been removed.

This machine in the Tech Lab and our main PC that runs ST for air are both i7 4790K, Windows 7 x64, 16G RAM. The main PC runs a Marian Trace Alpha and this one runs a Juli@ XTe.

C.
