Yuck, how do you listen to that ???

Loud, clipped, just a wall of noise to almost 1Khz.

Zero punch and the mid range overpowers any warmth created by bass.

Sounds average to awful and you can expect listener fatigue in a very short period of time.

Hi There,

You can use any decent spectrum analyzer to view the range of audio in your output.
The key is knowing what to look for when creating a particular sound.
If you don't know what to look for, a spectrum analyzer probably won't help.

Audio is subjective which means what sounds good to you may not sound as good to others, however there is always a common ground where many listeners will like the sound you have created.

I would start by re-testing your station using some of the standard ST presets, then fine tune and go from there.

If you are broadcasting on multiple platforms (ie: DAB, FM, Stream) you will most likely need either different presets or different versions of the same preset.

Hope this helps.

BeDazzler.

I think the preset is okay, it could be less midrange heavy, but compared to the stream itself it sounds cleaner in ST. The stream is awful though, the mids and vocals are lifted and clipped a lot, giving a smeared squashed sound.
