Ok,

Well as jou might know in Holland all big stations are running Orban Optimod's and with it's particular wooly and punchy bass it produces it has a signature sound.

I have tried for almost 2 jears to recreate this sound (because i like it :D) and sometimes i came close, but my latest preset is realy something you should listen to.

Please download latest beta version here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=7188&start=60
Hans included my new preset: Jeroen Platenkamp - SUBLIME

EDIT: PLEASE SET LATENCY @1024; SET INPUT LEVEL @ ABOUT 60% OF INPUT VU
EDIT2: JUST ADDED ALL AUDIO SETTINGS FOR THIS PRESET

SUBLIME is my personal attemt to come as close to the Orban Optimod's as possible, in fact i personaly like it more than the Orban units.
So for all you guys who are into Orban, please check it out and SUBLIME will probably be a good starter for tweaking to your own transmitter.

I would love to know what you think about it, please leave your comments below.

Finaly best wishes for you all and a good and healthy 2016 !

Jeroen.

Hi Jeroen,

will you make a HD-(Web)-Version of this preset?

Cheers and Merry Christmas
Mike

Sounds great! definetely got the orban sound, but the highs are hissing a bit.

I would love to see a version of this that works without the need for the paid declippers and such.

Jeroen, is there a reason why the Normal output is so much softer than the FM output? The difference is more than 8 dB, and for Normal output you don't even have pre-emphasis.

And, what happens if you leave the latency at 4096? I can put 1024 in the built-in version if needed... but I know that among others True Bass functions far less good at 1024 than at 4096.

Good morning Hans,

Answeres to your questions:

- No, the preset was made for FM. Never did anything with the other outputs.
- I found the bass somewhat more punchy in 1024, so my peronal view is to leave it in 1024.
Everybody is free to adjust all settings to their own needs, so if 4096 is preferred by others no problem.

If you want me to adjust settings for other outputs please let me know.

Jeroen.

Hans, do you mean the web version of sublime? The reason why those a lot softer sounds I have found Relative loudness is non-FM-12.04 dB and must stand on 0.00. Look the picture!

Edit: Sorry for the bad englisch i use a translator!

Ah Daniel thanks for that one, missed that slider completely !!
What do you think about the sound ?

@Hans, could you set the slider to 0.00 in the next build ?

Have a nice 2th X-Mas day you all !!

Jeroen.

The sound is very good, however, I'd like a bit more bass and lower mids. Where would you advise making that adjustment?
