]Freaky42 listen :!:

You have no ears?
I'm wondering, have you ever sense of Sound Processing?
First you ask for an emulation of a sound Orban, and now a box of Mr. fotti?

if you want that sound ( i dont like it ), you will quite in your wallet ;)

and I suggest you stop to stop whining, try self to emulate the sound of your processor, or in the sandbox

damn got a hate those people

Freaky im not screaming!
I told only the true ;)

100 percent you can never emulate the sound of an Orban Or Omnia.
The reason is the processors have diverent parameters and the whole setup.

Orban have less multiband compressor bands.
Omnia have only 5 or 6 bands AGC and 6 multband limiters.

That can change the whole sound much.

So i hope you have enough information.

Jeffry

Audio processing engineer.

Pfff. Your truth is not the truth from others here on this board so I see. There are many threads about emulated presets. There is nothing wrong with that. Sure, it's not the real deal ok, but a bit nearby. Take care please!

So on topic!

Parelduiker, not everyone is Dutch and used to being talked to this way, please keep that in mind!

I know that Bojcha tried to make such a preset 1.5 years ago - that was on a much older version of Stereo Tool so I don't know how much the sound has changed by now. The preset you want to look at is 'B-Town 4', it's built in. This sound - at least 1.5 years ago - got close to the sound of the Omnia 11 at the Soundprocessing Freakday in the Netherlands.

If you need to tweak the sound because it's different now, it will help to have some audio samples. You can find them here: http://processingfreakday.com/audio_en.php

Please ignore the Stereo Tool recordings, they are not really bad but Stereo Tool has improved so much since these recordings were made I really wouldn't want anyone to listen to them anymore :)

But you can find the originals AND the Omnia 11 recordings - then just load B-Town 4 in Stereo Tool and start adjusting if needed.

Thanks HVS! I try both versions of B town 4, the Europe one and the US version and it sounds great. B.t.w. I try it in the latest 633 BETA for Winamp version from ST.
If someone can look into this and make this presets better and closer to how Omnia.11 sounds today, I'm looking forward to.

Having set up an Omnia 11, I wasn't impressed with 95% of their presets. Did find two I could work with and modified them to fit the format in question. The 11 is a VERY expensive box, in my opinion overpriced, but with work can be made to sound good. Stereo Tool is a well-priced program that also yields impressive audio with some tweaking.
