I never said it was suppose to be an optimod.. it was based on an optimod preset and changed, maybe I should of called it franken-optimod.

I am a broadcast engineer and have played with processors for years... I know how an optimod works

the intention here was to share what I like, not to emulate

at the end of the day.. I dont care what you think... I like it and others like it. Ive listened to yours and dont like it

so to sum up..Opinions and Processing presets are like bums everybody has one.

Updated.

* More loudness using MB2 as a limiter
* name change as not to offend Bob's Love children

Loud but not fatiguing

I really love the preset, that's the sound signature I want to obtain, better than my preset lol

I have combined it with Bojcha's StarGate AGC settings. It's less aggressive on quiet song intros and endings.

Being a small radiostation in Denmark we have to be sending with "ITU BS 412" limitations. Activating this in your settings would that give a bad result?
Meaning: Would this this result in the sound NOT being as the hardware-version of the Optimod? (Also with MPX-0 activated)

Thanks for the hard work put into this.

I tweaked it a bit further, less density, more dynamics. Plays well with european CHR and Hot AC, and gives 80s & 90s pop a lot more punch.

It still uses the legacy MB1, anyone know how to port the settings to the new MB1?

Same applies to the AGC, I like the slow AGC in this preset, but again it's the legacy AGC. Any hint's how to get the same behaviour with the new?
